About Us

The Carolina Boys Quartet was formed in 2009 and shares the gospel through song and personal testimony.  The quartet is based in upstate South Carolina and strives to honor the heritage of the great gospel quartets of the past, blending our voices in classic 4-part male harmony.  In recognition of that, the readers of Singing News magazine voted us their “Favorite New Traditional Quartet” in 2015.  Each of the members recognizes the gifts the Lord has blessed them with and is grateful for the opportunity to use those gifts in this ministry.

More information for Southern Gospel history buffs:  During 2002-2004, the Kingsmen Quartet operated as The Carolina Boys Quartet.  Through our personal relationship with Ray Dean Reese, he agreed to sell us the trademark for “The Carolina Boys Quartet”.  At a concert featuring the Kingsmen and us on December 5, 2009, Mr. Reese made the official announcement that The Carolina Boys Quartet name had been transferred to this newly formed group.
